Music teachers Wynne Stone and Silke Sauppe founded the Pasadena Conservatory of Music in 1983. The current home of this highly accredited music school is in a historic building complex with a courtyard in the center. Included in their building renovation plan was the beautification of the courtyard to make it more useful and engaging for outdoor events. Referencing existing historic tile located on the exterior of the building, Native Tile created tiles for the existing unembellished concrete fountain. Together with new trees and other landscaping details the courtyard is now a lush and colorful gathering place for students and patrons.
